Last night we took our boys bowling for the 1st time.
I had to show them a video on youtube to get them interested… :)
Caleb kept referring to it as “bawling” - “Lets go BAWLING!!” – When I’d correct him saying “Its bowling…” he would say “Its ok, I can say it this way.” ::sigh:: Hes pretty stubborn whenever I correct his pronunciation mistakes. But I suppose there could be worse problems hehe.
So the BAWLING…
Its at a local spot in town… the only entertainment spot really, besides a play called deadwood.
We went in and I must admit, the prices to me were way to steep for children. Original price was $6.50 for kids, that included little ones as small as Taite (whos still 3). We got in with a church rate however since our youth group was coming that night, and only paid $5 per child. Travis and I just opted to watch.
The boys were super excited.

I know you all are loving Taites green bowling pants ;-)
His attire for the night was picked out by his brother Caleb. I can’t help but smile when I see what they come up with. At least it does match the bowling shoes :-) – Note: Its been like 90 here the past few days, so definitely not sweat pant weather!

Owen enjoyed watching… he was off schedule so had to be held the entire time… otherwise he’d cry.
After a few bowls we realized they were unfortunately to young to really give that ball proper UMPH! As you can see from these pictures, they had to “patiently wait” for their balls to creep down to the pins…
So, we got them….
“The Ramp” :-)
That helped speed things up a bit.
Aliesha was there :) and looking cute with her 39 week belly! I snagged this pic of her…

You can view her recent pregnancy updates on her blog HERE. BTW I will be photographing the birth ;-)

I would encourage you to count it “all joy” when you encounter difficult people or difficult circumstances as the Scriptures admonish us to do (I fail to do so just about every day). Our response to difficulties will be a profound witness to the world one way or the other, remember we serve a sovereign God who puts the believer in all situations for his/her ultimate benefit. In Christ
