Since coming to our new home, Caleb has been asked a good handful of times his age. Signing up for the children’s programs at the church its required obviously to know his birth-date… and well, when I am asked his age, I still say 6… because, he still is :) – however, to Caleb – he isn’t. On the 11th this past month we celebrated Caleb’s 7th birthday early. He had been talking about it for MONTHS prior, and I just knew once we found out we were moving, that we had to have his party early, so that his friends could join in the celebration.
It was a bitter sweet day… where friends came out to celebrate with us… but also say goodbye. We made it a joyful time but I know there was a sense of sadness there as well.
I wanted to share our memories from that day.
They bring me smiles and tears all at the same time.

*Thank you Shannon for making Caleb’s awesome cake, notice the measurements? ;-)*

*One of Caleb’s gifts was a 100 FT tape measure, this was his reaction to getting it (below)…*
We of course gave “tape measures” away as party favors.

*Notice how the boys made SWORDS out of their tape measures, Lydia apparently didn’t see the joy in that :)*
& of course, when we got home, the gifts came out…*
Caleb wasted no time getting to work on his measurements.
& then of course, they HAD to play with Shannons bright idea of a gift, a whoopie cushion!
& yes, we have a video of their giggles….
Thanks everyone for the incredible memories. We miss you all!!

Awwww!!! It was so fun and great memories :) We laughed our heads off at the boys enjoying their whoopie cushion. HAHA!! I am going to ship Taite’s to him :)
