So excited to post this DIY Kids Essential Oil Bracelet post. I recently made these for the boys and they came out so adorable. Their Daddy wears a leather braided bracelet for wearing certain Essential Oils… and I just knew, if I made them one, they’d be tickled over the idea of having something like their dads. I have wanted to buy the boys one of the nicer ones. However, my boys are terrible at losing things. So the thought of spending to much money on a diffuser bracelet just wasn’t something I felt was wise. :) So inexpensive DIY was more for me.
This is super easy to do. Requires very little skill :)
My boys had a Paracord Bracelet set on hand from a couple Christmas’ ago. I remember specifically seeing small buckles in this kit and knew they never used the smaller ones. So I grabbed those out of the kit (walmart sells them in small bags though for a few bucks in the craft department), found some suede cording *was I believe under $2 for a small pack of 4 colors* (also in the walmart craft dept – but heres a link to some genuine leather cord on amazon). I then watched THIS VIDEO on youtube, teaching you how to make a simple paracord bracelet. That was it! I then just drop some Essential Oils (just 1 drop) onto the bracelet, place it on the boys… and for the entire day they get to benefit from the aroma of that oil, as well as allow it to have contact with their skin. Essential Oils are very strong mind you, so when dealing with children, be sure to dilute properly. You can view my post on diluting oils for kids HERE & HERE.
Also just as a heads up, Rocky Mountain Oils where I get my Essential Oils is having a 3 days 40% off sale on select oils! Well worth looking into. A few of my favorite oils are on the sale list! HERE is a link to the sale.
