The Best Muffin Hack for Amazing Homemade Muffin Bars

I am a HUGE Muffin fan. If I could eat one with every meal I’d be happy. I am a fan. :) What I don’t like are muffin tins. They are difficult to fill. I always make a mess filling them. They are even more difficult to clean. While Muffins do have their place in a regular muffin form (coffee shop, baby shower, where prettiness is important? haha)… but if you’re like me, busy, a mom constantly with a full list of “to do’s”.. and someone who constantly has dishes to wash. Then you are going to love this muffin hack.

I have talked about it a few times on instagram. I thought though for those not on instagram, you may appreciate a post.

Here is what you need:

-Pre-boxed Muffin Mix, OR if you like everything homemade, any traditional muffin mix that is comparable to a boxed mix in “batter” size will do. For the muffins featured in this post I used Aldi’s Blue Berry Muffin Box Mix. Similar to THIS.

The Best Muffin Hack for Amazing Homemade Muffin Bars in less than 10 minutesA large Bar Pan Stone – I got mine many years ago at a Pampered Chef Party. I have tried other stone brands and none come close to the quality of a Pampered Chef Stone. So if you don’t have one, find a seller in your area and host a party. Last time I hosted a Pampered Chef party I got over $200 in gift cards to spend on myself. I ADORE their stones and they are worth every penny. I use this bar pan for fajitas, muffins, french fries, brownies, baking chicken, chicken nuggets, you name it, its what I use. YOU CAN BUY THIS ON AMAZON, however it cost way more on amazon. ALSO if you buy it on amazon I am not sure it comes with the warranty. So again, def. recommend finding a person who sells the brand in your area. Just search a local facebook page to find someone. :)

Now here is what you do:

Pour all the batter into your bar pan until even. It should be about 3/4 of an inch thick. Then bake at 425F for 10 minutes until golden brown. Cut into rectangles and that is it!

They take a fraction of the time to bake and clean up is a breeze compared to using muffin tins. Even if you use muffin sleeves (papers), if you’re like me, you still make a mess and end up having to clean them.

I never make muffins the traditional way any more. :) I hope yall enjoy.
