I have been wanting to post this for some time now… but just now got around to hanging up the windows I wanted up. It only took a month to get done haha… but the original paint job I did to our Home School Room was done earlier this summer and took me one evening to do. I also refinished our home school cabinet my dad gave me many years ago. The paint job it had was beat up and in dire need… so I went with a deeper color called Poised Taupe by Sherwin Williams. I had originally bought that color to paint our master bedroom (just the sample size) and ended up opting for a different color. So waste not want not right?: ) I decided it be a great color for the piece in our school room and I love how it turned out.
The only thing left to do in this room is hang some sheer drapes of some sort. This room is in the front of our home so it lacks privacy at night… so we want some sort of curtain to help with that in the evenings.
I also plan to get a file system that is decorative as well and hang that beside the white board near the storage unit in the room.
Other than that, its done :)
I will try and post some side by sides – but you can view how the school room use to look OVER HERE.
The Wall Color for those curious is Agreeable Gray by Sherwin Williams.
I love it so much! Feels so much more open and clean. Excited to start our 8th year home schooling!
