WE ARRIVED!
SO… my husbands car is a Nissan Altima. Its a 1998… has over 200,000 miles… yet has never had any major problems. We have been very blessed because of this… No car repairs saves some big money :)
The Nissan has acquired a recent problem though. When you roll down the driver side window it stick… we tried to never roll it down because of this… but the other day I forgot :) and well.. its stuck. I thankfully only rolled it down half way… but still was a pretty big gap.
Monday my husband had to leave for Greensboro NC… about 3 hrs from our home. Because the window would not go back up he was going to rent a car for this trip… but the car rental place in town was having issues and couldn’t get him a car on time. I told him to just take my van… and id deal with the Altima.
Yesterday it was ok to drive the Altima… it was sunny, 70’s… and beautiful out! Today however…. rainy…. rainy…. rainy… AND VERY WINDY and cold. I had a play date to go to at noon though and hated to back out just because of the rain. The play day was INDOORS any how :) so no reason NOT to go.
I then decided I would tape a plastic trash bag onto my husbands car window haha… I couldnt find duct tape so I used masking tape…
It is the most ghetto tape/bag job I’ve ever seen haha…
I sent this txt message photo to my husband today and he said “We have arrived!” haha…
Its not to bad though. I didnt complain or feel less worthy :)
I actually found it very funny… and as I drove down the road I thought to myself
“I sure hope a cop doesnt stop me” :)
Cause I had THE BIGGEST BLIND SPOT. I didn’t even think about it until I got into the car… my entire drive side vision was gone.. unless I bent over and looked through the crack under the bag, hahaha…
I only had to drive 2 miles though and made very few turns… so It all worked out.
Travis is back and so is my van!
Heres to getting the window fixed, CHEAP! :-D

That is hilarious!!!
