Last night our 7 year old Caleb got his 1st “real” bible… it was given to him by our church… in a special service they had last night for the 1st graders. It was really sweet… and I loved how excited the kids got to walk on stage… and have a bible handed to them by our Pastor.
I took pictures and hope to blog them soon :) – but for now.. a single instagram photo of Caleb this morning…

No one asked him to read it…
He wanted to.
It was so sweet to hear him say “Oh I like this part…” and then read out loud to me, scripture. Book marking and highlighting ones that stood out to him.
Such a special time for us.
We look so forward to our children growing in their relationships with the Lord.
I must say, my kids make me smile.
Often :)
But this particular day, their way of dressing just brought me joy.
How carefree they were and how funny it was all at once.
It was a PJ, Costume, Wind Pant, Orange Croc, Helmet sorta day.

& one that melts my heart, can you hear Owen stopping and saying “cheeseeee” :-D
Hes a natural.

Thank you btw those who emailed me yesterday! Such an encouragement.
We are still traveling.
Visiting some sweet friends now.
So no time to blog.
However, I thought id post these few photos, taken at my mom & dads earlier last week.
I love having these memories & all of them since Christmas I hope to put into an album. It will be something I cherish.

Travis enjoys the toys as much, if not more than our kids :)

I’m not sure what post number this is. I am sure somewhere on wordpress it tells me :) – but all I can say is wow does time fly.
2012?
This blog started in 2005… when I was just 21…
and Caleb was only a few months old.
Now he is over 7!
We are so thankful for how the Lord has blessed us this year.
2011 was filled with so many emotions its hard to even think back on at times.
But wow…. what a journey!!
We are so excited for what 2012 has to bring & pray that we will continue to grow.
Blessings everyone!
& for the sake of asking :) – does anyone have any 2012 goals?
I do!
but, ill save that for another day ;-)
There is a lack of internet connection where we are :)
however… it might be a good thing.
Time away with family is nice.
We’re enjoying it.
Blessings!! Hope everyone has a happy new year, if I can’t post til then.
