Anyone ever hear of Talking Tom – the App? – I found out about it through Casey.
& I just got to say, all 3 of our boys love it.
Today Owen was playing with it (with me close by, since I don’t trust him alone with my ipad) – and he was just so cute interacting with it, that I had to take a quick video.
Like I said in yesterdays post. Our church gave all the 1st graders bibles. All 160 of them!
Before service they had all the 1st graders get signed in.
They are so organized its unbelievable how smooth things go.
Caleb had his named on a seat with his Sunday School classmates… and after signing him in, he got to sit with them the 1st half of the service. He was so excited about this and even though we were there 35 minutes early… he still wanted me to leave him be, to be with his friends.
While we waited Taite got in some ipad Sonic the Hedgehog time :) – and while he was busy waiting, I snuck back over to snag a photo of Caleb in his “assigned seat” :)
Notice his expression? He was trying to hide from me!
I did manage to get a smile.
Our Pastor shook all 160 of these sweet kids hands as they walked proudly across the stage.
& after finding us – Caleb sat with us so grown up… excited about his bible… and we joined together like we always do on Sunday, singing together and then hearing a great sermon from our Pastor.
& if that wasn’t enough… we had a celebration after the services for all the kids.
The kids had a great time. The lady painting Caleb and Taites face is Caleb’s SS teacher, btw :)
Owen we have recently noticed has a very strong opinion about a very specific thing.
His sleeves.
Since it is still winter, its chilly most days, which means long sleeve shirts. Come dinner time or trips to the aquarium :) – sleeves need to be rolled up.
So I roll them up… only for seconds later him to realize it, and pull it down.
I find it cute, although we often have messy sleeves in our home :) – anyone else have a baby who insist on keeping their sleeves DOWN?
Intro's are never easy for me. I guess because they force me to sum up myself and our lives into a short paragraph. As non-complex as I am, this is hard :) - so in short...
