2 sessions in a weekend – is a lot for me :) – Before moving here, I tried to never take more than 1 a week… just because, it was all I could honestly handle. Between home schooling the boys, motherhood in general, house keeping & so on, part time photography was perfectly fine with me. However with Travis still not having a permanent full time job right now, I am more than willing to take as much as I can. I am so thankful that the Lord has brought people into our lives that are not only a blessing and joy to know… but have also helped spread the word about my business… I cant thank them enough.
Alright ladies.
I am looking for some models! Babies and Moms ;-)
If you live in the Atlanta GA area, or within driving distance – let me know.
This is what I am working on…
Model has to provide their own wardrobe.
Baby has to be between newborn and age 2 1/2.
I will be photographing two types of carriers.
Wraps & Structured.
So if interested let me know. As payment I will be able to give away some of these carriers ;-) – 1st come 1st serve. And you can also get a few digital copies of your fav. images from the session to use in your home or for personal use.
I had to post these right away, they were just to cute!
We went to Atlanta today.
I wish I could say it was a smooth trip.
IT WASN’T.
I didn’t realize it was gay pride weekend… as well as protestors at the CNN building… so, add that to the normal busyness of an Atlanta weekend, lets just say it was less than enjoyable… We had a few good moments, but if I had to re-do the day, we would of avoided Atlanta.
I had to do my 1st CRAVE session at 4:30 – and while attempting to go to this, we got so lost… I mean majorly lost. I was 30 minutes late to the session, which never happens.
I am thankful my husband was so patient… because I sure wasn’t…
On the ride home our older two zonked out, but Owen refused to sleep.
Which in the end was fine, he went to bed easily when we got home.
I kept him entertained by taking his picture.
We recently turned his car seat front facing… Im still unsure how I feel about that. I liked him rear facing, but he protested it recently, and would scream and whine constantly in the car. I figured this may help… but I am not sure yet. I may switch him back next week… we shall see. I did however like being able to see him :) – so there was a pro to him being front facing today.
I was talking to a friend today… and she encouraged me to make blog headers again.
I thought about it throughout the day… and thought, you know… WHY NOT :)
So since I am not to busy with photo work due to the move… I am open for doing some headers for people.
The cost: $35 per header
Bundle it with a button: for $45
- If you are interested just e-mail me at drea[at]dreawood.com – and we will chit chat details on how it works. Headers can be made to fit almost any template btw – blogger, wordpress, typepad, etc…
Intro's are never easy for me. I guess because they force me to sum up myself and our lives into a short paragraph. As non-complex as I am, this is hard :) - so in short...
