Touched Photos & I’ll keep my baby fat

This afternoon I was able to take some photos to add to my Touched Photography website. The ladies featured in these photos are 3 of our lovely students.
I had a blast taking them… even though it was FREEZING OUT!!!!!!!! We had to do the photos in sessions because it was so stinkin cold! haha. It was a lot of fun though.

I got an email from a friend tonight w/ photos of really skinny models….
Uhh… it was pretty bad. I couldnt believe some of the photos on this email! These girls were like sticks. Here are two examples:

yea… talk about “strange….” The last photo is really weird!
How can women think this is beautiful? Now I know I have some issues w/ my self image and weight.. I am constantly worried about the calories that enter my mouth… and I weigh myself every day… but I am not so blind that I would ever let myself get that thin. That is just dangerous, sad and not at all attractive.

I was happy to see on ANTM (Americas Next Top Model) that Tyra decided to put TWO plus sized models into the compitition.. rather than just one. I think out of all the girls in the series this season the plus sized ones are the most natural looking women on the show. Their absolutely beautiful… and I really believe them being there is a great thing.
It gives women like me who struggle daily with their idea of the “ideal weight” and helps them see how it doesnt matter if you fit into a size 3 jean or x-small shirt… beautiful is not in a number on the scale…

Ultimately we should remember what the Lord says about Beauty…

‘Charm is Decietful and Beauty is fading… but a woman who fears the Lord.. she shall be praised!’ - Proverbs 31:30

As often as I do fail I try to remember this…

Brothers, payperpost?

This afternoon I took some photos of Taite and Caleb together. They came out okay. Im not totally pleased with them … but I did manage to get some good shots. Its hard to take photos of them together. Caleb squirms a lot because Taite always falls over haha. (he doesnt get hurt, just sorta rolls)

Caleb and Taite dont have shirts or pants on in the photos .. just diaper/underwear… so yeah :-) not making it public haha.
