I got some work done…
We home schooled (slightly) – ok it was field trip day, but we will make it up tomorrow {cheese}.
We had a blast at the Georgia Aquarium.
Where we saw the new frog exhibit! SOO COOL! We also got to see the Dolphin show.
It was just a great day with the family… I am so thankful for those moments we can spend together.
& of course car ride crashes always result after days like today :)
Resulting in adorable cuteness with a dash of milk on the chin.
Since we had cows yesterday we may as well talk about the horses today :)
Also on our trip to NC, Travis’ sister invited us out to see her daughter Kelly riding her horse. Well, not her horse, but a horse she has been able to use and learn with.
These were Clydesdale horses and boy were they tall!
All 3 of our boys had the chance to ride :) & loved it.
I however kept my distance, since a few years back I realized I had an allergy to horses… strange huh? – oh the wonders and perks to having kids, each kid I develop a new allergy it seems and a larger foot size, hah…

That is Kelly (Travis’ youngest niece) riding.
One day while we visited with Travis’ side of the family… we got to head out early in the morning to feed some of the cows. Travis’ dad is a farmer and recently one of his cows had twins. In this situation a lot of the times the mother cow will favor one calf over the other… so to make sure both twins stayed strong and well fed, they supplemented off and on with the calves.
I thought the boys would enjoy seeing this… so we all drove out to the farm that morning…
Did you know Cows tongues feel like sand paper?! I didn’t…
That last photo I love. I think we should canvas it and gift it to my father in law :) Anyone else ever nurse a cow, or goat? or anything besides your own baby? :) – its always kinda neat to do isnt it?!
One of the stops we made on our trip was to see Tad, Aliesha & Vera – as well as Kelly and her crew. It was a short visit but sweet. It was so nice seeing everyone again.

So sad that we couldn’t spend time more time with these sweet families.
We miss them.

& for some odd reason when we got together to do our group picture…
We noticed Kelly and Aliesha’s shirt’s matched in color.
SO why not shove a coat under your shirt to pretend your pregnant.
HAHAHA, we are just strange :)
When we saw the photo we realized it didn’t look like a pregnant belly :)
So we tried again… and…
a spoon made an appearance…
SO we tried one last time.
& got it.

Well today we are officially traveling…
Something I will say I am not looking forward too.
Just because…. traveling with 3 kids, results in lots of stops… so a trip that should take 4 hours, takes 5 :) Maybe one day it will be a bit more fun :) but with Owen not really understanding why we have to be in the car for 5 hours, it makes traveling less than enjoyable.
The hours in the car were worth it though.
We have had a great time.
