The not so good trip to Atlanta :)

Even though our weekend trip to Atlanta was less than successful :)
I did manage to snag a few photos…

So for those who wanted to see them… here goes…

We had snack time before entering the aquarium.
To those concerned about Owen eating a full size banana..
WE MONITOR HIM CLOSELY when he does this.
It is not something I do on a regular basis, unless I am watching.

A Car Ride

I had to post these right away, they were just to cute!

We went to Atlanta today.

I wish I could say it was a smooth trip.

IT WASN’T.

I didn’t realize it was gay pride weekend… as well as protestors at the CNN building… so, add that to the normal busyness of an Atlanta weekend, lets just say it was less than enjoyable… We had a few good moments, but if I had to re-do the day, we would of avoided Atlanta.

I had to do my 1st CRAVE session at 4:30 – and while attempting to go to this, we got so lost… I mean majorly lost. I was 30 minutes late to the session, which never happens.

IMG_0304copyI am thankful my husband was so patient… because I sure wasn’t…

On the ride home our older two zonked out, but Owen refused to sleep.

Which in the end was fine, he went to bed easily when we got home.

I kept him entertained by taking his picture.

We recently turned his car seat front facing… Im still unsure how I feel about that. I liked him rear facing, but he protested it recently, and would scream and whine constantly in the car. I figured this may help… but I am not sure yet. I may switch him back next week… we shall see. I did however like being able to see him :) – so there was a pro to him being front facing today.

Treat in a bottle

I discovered these a week ago through a friend.

and let me just say, it is my new treat in a bottle :)

As you can see from the empty bottle I drank it all ;-) – in one sitting. Im not a big fan of drinking calories, but this just over 100 calorie bottle was worth the splurge :)

Generous

It has been such a busy day!
I maybe sat down for an hour… which is great! but I still have so much left to do…
And by sat down, I mean sat down at my desk to WORK… and maybe chat with a friend on the side for a few ;-)

Now I am off to wake Taite up, change the Owsters Hiney :) – and then run to the store. At least that is the plan.

I wanted to link to my friend’s blog post she had up today though.. about something she learned from one of her daughters. It was a very touching post!

I also love the verse she ended with…


“And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.” Galatians 6:9
