It was a nice trip this weekend… taking one of our students to a ministry summit 3 hours away… but boy did it wear your out.
Its hard traveling w/ a young toddler. Caleb is unsure of whats going on any time we travel… and he was extra confused and tired seeing as I just got back in from a 7 day visit to NC.
He did well considering though.
The hotel we stayed at was awesome… it had a huge heated indoor pool and hot tub… and nice arcade area for the kids. It even had a big resturaunt inside to eat breakfast at.
The lady working the counter was unsure if Caleb was a girl or boy… I think its time for a hair cut. His hair looks short up top… but its past his shoulders in the back. He has a mullet going on.
Any how. Its late… 10:37pm… We’ve been on the road for about 6 hours today. Travis and I for most of the morning drove. We went to a big mall called Easton Mall in Columbus Ohio. Boy was that a huge place!!! We didnt even know where to begin.
After going there we drove an hour 1\2 to pick up our student.. then drove 3 hours more to get home… Ugh… to much driving…
Oh well it was good fun I suppose ;-)
Off to bed.
Going out of town again. We have to take a student to a ministry event about 3 hours from us. Instead of wasting gas and putting miles on our car… Travis and I decided to spend the night around this place… That way we don’t have to drive twice as much. The pictures are in no particular order :-) The one to the right is of my Mom, Caleb and I yesterday. It was in the mid 60′s… so pretty out!
Heres a picture from today. I have so many from the trip. I get home late thursday and then go back out of town on Friday… get back Sat… so I probably wont have time to post them all until Sunday afternoon or Monday. So heres a good one taken outside in my parents back yard. (Oh and yes this is in NC. We have palm trees here 2 hehe)

Now we are off to the store to buy Caleb diapers. WOO HOO!
I thought I’d let everyone on the blogging world know why I couldnt blog the next few days. I posted a blog earlier saying I would be busy all week… which was true! But the real reason I cant blog this week is because my Dad flew Caleb and myself down to NC for a surprise visit. My mom turned 50 yesterday (the 20th). So as a surprise to her he had us fly down on Thursday. She came home from her job around 6pm that night… walked in… and saw Caleb and I standing there in her kitchen. Was pretty cool :-)
Caleb is down for his morning nap… so I had a few minutes to write some emails… and blog.
I will stay here until the 26th I believe it is… So check back then for pictures from NC.
